Apply for a Grant
WE’RE CONTINUING LONGER GRANT CYCLES FOR the 2025-2026 school year! Applications for the Great Ideas, Professional Development and Professional Book Group grants are accepted each year in the fall and the spring. Certified Los Alamos Public Schools teachers may apply. Applications will be accepted from September 1 through November 30, 2025 for the fall grant cycle and from February 1 through April 30, 2026 for the spring grant cycle.

Mini grant applications (up to $100) will open on August 1, 2025. Certified Los Alamos Public Schools teachers may apply. Every teacher may apply for one mini grant per school year as long as funds remain available.
Wellness grants for 2025-26 start on August 1, 2025! In support of the Los Alamos Public Schools District’s focus on student and staff wellness, the LAPS Foundation offers wellness grants for up to $500 each. Any Los Alamos Public Schools employee may apply. Wellness grants should fit into one of the following categories: physical fitness, mindfulness/stress management, morale, creativity/fun or other (please specify). Wellness grants are not meant to continue funding programs already in place. There is no deadline to apply, but once the funding has been allocated for the year, no more will be available until the next semester. Learn more
