“As I have both lived and travelled extensively in the US and overseas, I have really come to understand the exceptional educational experiences that the Los Alamos Public School system provides. My three grown children have each come to appreciate the tremendous advantages that their Los Alamos education has given them as well. I say educational experiences because it is the combination of teachers, staff, facilities, and numerous extra-curricular activities that provide the educational experience that is unique to every child. With ever tightening budgets, the school system simply cannot afford to continue all of these amazing programs. That is where the LAPS Foundation comes in, by providing support to critical areas that simply would not happen any other way, and it is why I support the Foundation financially, have served on the board, and continue to promote the Foundation’s outstanding work whenever possible.”
