Give Back to the Schools that Gave You Your Start
Members of the class of 1979 have been issued a challenge by the class of 1989, to continue the great tradition of outstanding education in the Los Alamos Public Schools. Class of 1969 has already accepted the challenge!
Since we all graduated—those many years ago—the community established the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation (LAPSF) to ensure that our schools get the funding they need. This support enriches student education, offers our educators opportunities to expand and grow, and provides resources to promote student and teacher wellness.
Over the past decade, the Foundation has donated more than $1 million to the public schools and its students. We need your help to support the schools that shaped who you are today. Forty years ago, when you all graduated, no doubt each of you left LAHS with the hope of changing the world for the better—giving to the LAPSF can be part of that.
So the class of ’89 is challenging you to show your commitment to the future by donating to the LAPSF. Your reunion organizers have agreed to a goal of raising $5,000 by the end of the reunion and we’re certain that, with your help, we can make that happen.
You can donate right here on this page easily and securely with a credit card. Please share with fellow classmates so that we can reach our goal.
